Gung Hay Fat Choy (Happy Chinees Noo Yeer)

Last night, well after he was supposed to be asleep, A. came out with a handmade card for us.

He says the leopard-print scotch tape is in honor of the leopards in China, and the green symbol is the best Chinese writing he can do.

Oh my god, I swear I'm going to adopt a little kid TODAY.

Yeah, this is the fun stuff.

Not fun stuff: hearing from the other room, "Hey Ben, let's see if this hurts."

Once again, A. has out-cuted the rest of the world!

True, he was supposed to be asleep but this must have been on his list. You know he had to make the card if it was on the list!

Dear Ross. Happy New Year (with a few weeks delay! but it is never too late to congratulate for happy occasions...)
I am one of your new readers, writing from Iran.
1- What do you about modest Islamic Hijab? a divine order that is given to muslims around the world in order to save their personality, beauty and fashion? International mainstream media try to create a black propaganda about this issue and you can never recognize the real truth about this... but what about looking at some interesting pictures of faithful muslim women wearing modern hijab? go to http://helloyahoomail.net/en
2- What do you know about Mevlana, the great Sufi Poet of Persian gulf land? did you ever know that he didn't write even a couplet of Turkish poem? http://www.persianmevlana.ir this website lets you gather valuable information on Mevlana.
3- and finally I invite you to take a visit of http://cyberfaith.blogspot.com to learn more about great Iran, the cradle of science, arts and power in the world today...

Hi there, new reader from Iran. My name's not Ross. And Chinese New Year was just last week.

1. Thanks, but we see lots of modern hijab right here. We have one of the largest Muslim populations in the country in the city just south of us.

2. I thought for sure Mevlana wrote a couplet of Turkish poem. Thanks for setting me straight.

3. Thanks.
