When Natasha Richardson was reported to be critically injured after a fall, I paid attention. Then she died, and the cause was an epidural hematoma. So I went back and re-read my posts from 3 years ago when I had one of those. Damn. I remember feeling like they were all waiting for me to slip into a coma. They were. I feel like I dodged a bullet, but it's not the crazy, "Yay I'm Alive!" you would hope for. It's more like, "Crap. I could've died."

Wow, no kidding! I remember being VERY worried about you after your head injury. Take heed: Subsequent concussions/head bangs tend to be more likely to be more serious.
Have you fully recovered?
Yeesh, now I want to wear a helmet all the time. If I could only figure out how to wash my hair while wearing one.
Yep. We were all "a little" worried. But I sure didn't want to share that with the boys!
Oh, and Sarah - no need for a helmet if you'll just stop jumping in the shower.
Yes, as frustrating as that way it could have been far worse.
I also thought about the time I fell off my daughter's snow board and was out for a bit...and how dizzy I was...ugh.
