In 2 weeks I get to have a sigmoidoscopy! And since I have a blog, you all (might) get to hear about it, too! I wonder if they'll think I'm weird if I bring my camera.
I'm kinda bummed because there's no sedation involved, as there is in a colonoscopy. It only takes about 15 minutes and apparently the worst part is getting "cleaned out" beforehand. It's impossible to schedule it for a time when I don't have to work the previous day, so my clients are going to bear the brunt of me only having clear liquids all day. Sorry, everyone, if I seem a little less empathic than usual.

Ugh. Why this rather than a colonoscopy? Paul had a colonoscopy several years ago and I think he'd agree that the worst part was the cleaning out. And apparently he shushed the nurse and doctor as he was going under because they were talking and he was trying to sleep.
'Cause I don't need them to go in that far. Somethin's a-bleeding and it's not too far up.
The worst part is that I still have to clean myself out, but I don't get the drugs as a reward. I guess a clean bill of health is my reward, yada yada.
Blech all the way around.
As for the camera, they probably won't think it any more weird than when I asked my new in-laws way back when, for the turkey carcas after Thanksgiving Dinner for Nat's Coven Turkey Carcas Contest!
